Kringen (Goddess Kring) and Kelly Hughes (Heart
Attack Theatre!). Watch highlights from their

June 20th is the first in a series highlighting
The Golden Age of Seattle Public Access.
Channeling Yourself is a locally produced
documentary that explores the people who
produced programs on Seattle Public Access
television and its ongoing influence on how we
watch media and challenge freedom of speech.
The Seattle Public Access Preservation Series is
currently on display at Scarecrow Video, world
renowned home for VHS, DVDs and home to film
lovers and community involvement. Find our shelf
in the locally produced section and join us for
future events at Scarecrow.

of they city and the statue of liberty. FIGMENT NYC will take over the island

FIGMENT NYC Weekend on June 7th and 8th, filling
it with participatory art projects in every imaginable medium.
Visitors to FIGMENT are invited to play minigolf,
relax in our City of Dreams Pavilion, explore our interactive sculptures, and
play in our TreeHouse all season long.

are making about public access tv. i had such fun answering questions on camera for them!

Multi Media Artist Shannon Kringen grew up
in San Diego California and Whidbey Island
Washington. She is a self taught
photographer with a background in Graphic
Design. She works as a figure model and is
designing her BA degree with a concentration
on Photography. Shannon also paints onto
shoes and creates fully abstract paintings
on canvas. She recently begun learning
printmaking and plans to combine photography
with monotype prints. She sees her creative
expression as a tool to connect with
community and a way of increasing self
awareness and tap into a deeper wisdom
within.
